Dual concurrent Wi-Fi with an aggregated datarate of up to 3,550 Mbps
The LANCOM OX-6402 offers the Wi-Fi 6 standard (IEEE 802.11ax) for high-speed wireless LAN for clients in the 2.4- and 5-GHz bands. Wi-Fi 6 technology achieves transmission rates of up to 2.400 Mbps at 5 GHz and simultaneously up to 1.150 Mbps at 2.4 GHz.

PoE Passthrough for flexible power supply with minimal installation effort
The LANCOM OX-6402 ccan be operated both via Power over Ethernet (PoE) according to IEEE 802.3at and via PoE according to IEEE 802.3bt. When connected to a switch with PoE according to IEEE 802.3bt, the access point is also able to supply another PoE-capable device such as an IP camera via PoE Passthrough. This means that the devices can be placed completely independently of existing power outlets – minimizing the need for complex cabling in outdoor areas and saving installation costs at the same time.

Alternatively, you have the option of mounting external antennas according to your individual needs, e.g. to additionally focus high-density areas with sector antennas. It is also possible to set up point-to-point links over medium distances with the use of suitable, more directional antennas. The LANCOM OX-6402 with standard connector (N jack) enables the connection of external antennas regardless of the manufacturer.

The LANCOM OX-6402 supports the fast WLAN standard IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6), so you are technically well equipped for future challenges. LANCOM Systems provides a warranty of 3 years on the OX-6400, which can easily be extended to 5 years with the Warranty Basic Option L or the Warranty Advanced Option L . On the software side, you also benefit from the high LANCOM standards: Several times a year, you receive free major releases of the LCOS LX operating system with new, future-proof features. Even if a product is discontinued, we offer free major releases, critical security fixes (security updates) based on the last available software version, and free technical manufacturer support for at least another 2 years as part of LANCOM software lifecycle management.
